TRFC - Third XV Match Reports

Tynedale 3rdXV 12 v Novos III 24

Well, all good intentions and all that. I was going to do the match report for the 3rd team as mentioned. One or two things made me think twice and postpone it :-

1) We only had 12 men

2) We only had one front row

2) Hastie had done a runner so we couldnt get any more men

4) the opposition only had 13 men

5) No ref turned up

6) We lost one of our men to be a ref who put a whole new meaning into "the effing refs blind"

7) We lost a man with a gaping head wound

8) The opposition lost a man with a gaping head wound (coincidence)

9) We had no captain as he had buggered off to London

So all in all it was a standard week for the thirds, we eventually played NOVOS thirds and lost, unsure of the score - we still cant believe we lost even though the ref normally played in our backs!!!!!

I will prepare a match report for you after this weeks game, hopefully.
