Colin was a past member of Tynedale RFC. He played consistently for the Grasshoppers and the Vets throughout the 1990's and early 2000's before his employment took him away from the local area.

He always considered Tynedale as his home club, visiting with his family a few years ago and as recently as this season where his determination, despite rapidly deteriorating health, saw him attend the past players' lunch on 20th January.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been finalised but it will take place next month, most likely in St Albans.

Our thoughts are with his wife, Olivia and Colin’s family at this extremely difficult time.
