Tynedale RFC are eagerly looking to provide contact rugby for adult ladies.

If you are the slightest bit interested why not come along to an Allianz Inner Warrior Camp on Sunday 20th June 2021 (11.30am - 1.30pm) at Tynedale Park, Corbridge. ALL are welcome!
Allianz Inner Warrior Camp, is a Women's rugby fitness session designed to get Women into Rugby. This session is for Women aged 17 and over.

The event is free and open to all interested in having a go at a fun taster session.

From 11.30am to 1.30pm at Tynedale RFC Corbridge you will be introduced to the basics of the game, have a chance to meet some of the players, have a run around and enjoy a refreshing glass of Prosecco and a Pizza Picnic with friends afterwards!

All you need is yourself, sports kit and trainers (if you’ve got boots bring them down!), we will provide all equipment!

The Inner Warrior Event will be run as per RFU Covid Safe guidelines.
Covid precautions: on the day we will take your contact details for track and trace purposes. We ask that if you have symptoms of covid 19 or are isolating you do NOT attend, of course we would love to have you down as soon as you’re symptom and covid free so it’s not your only opportunity.

Training will continue on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer and change to Wednesday evenings when the season starts in September.

Tynedale RFC has for many years successfully provided full contact rugby for girls at under 13, under 15 and under 18 age groups in the name of Tynedale Panthers.
More recently an Adult Ladies Touch Rugby team has trained and played competitive matches in the Thornton Hickeys Ladies Touch Winter League against local teams from the north-east. The next step is on its way as the Club look to setup full contact rugby for adult ladies.
