Match Report taken from "The Rugby Paper":
Tynedale broke their duck with an impressive win over Huddersfield at Corbridge.
The victory was based on an excellent performance from Jacob Oliver, who celebrated his call-up to the England U20's elite squad with a first half hat-trick.
Oliver put Tynedale ahead from a lineout catch and drive after seven minute, adding his second three minutes later from a left-wing attack.
Huddersfield responded with a penalty from Joe Potter, but a rare try from prop Gus White extended Tynedale's lead after 15 minutes.
A lineout move saw Huddersfield grab a try through Will Hammond and a good try from Adam Ryder narrowed the gap to two points.
A good kick and chase saw Oliver complete his hat-trick after 33 minutes, Josh Leslie converting into the wind, before Will Nankivell ran in from 25 metres to make it 27-13 at the break.
A Leslie penalty extended Tynedale's lead after 45 minutes but with two players in the sin-bin Tynedale were unable to prevent Ed Barber grabbing Huddersfield's third try on the hour. A late penalty from Jake Rodgers saw Tynedale to their first win of the season.
