Whenever Tynedale travel to play Fylde there will be many people from both clubs who recall the horrible day of Saturday 25th 2004 when Tynedale’s young prop Alistair Johnson suffered a serious injury.
It is appropriate that we pause to remember Ali.

LAST SEASON (2022-2023)
Last season Fylde finished strong runners-up to champions Sedgley Park – losing only three of their 26 matches.
The Tynedale v Fylde matches last season ended all-square with the home side being victorious on both occasions.
The match at Fylde on 29th October 2022 ended in a comfortable 43-10 victory for Fylde but Tyne turned the tables on 25 February 2023 with a 23-12 victory – effectively ending Fylde’s promotion hopes.
