Tyne left with too much to do

Report taken from "The Rugby Paper":-

Tynedale scored three tries in the last ten minutes to secure two points but it was Otley who ran out winners, lifting themselves five places up the league.
As a result Otley's head coach Kyle Dench was pleased with his side's work, saying that Tynedale were the better team in the first half , but that his side came out for the second to play a much better game.
Otley had the early territorial advantage, but their first try started deep in their 22. Sam Taylor ran onto man-of-the-match Jacob Holmes's kick, taking the ball into Tynedale's half, before giving it back to Jacob Holmes who went on to score after nine minutes with Gavin Stead adding the conversion.
Seamus Hutton caught an Otley kick, taking back into the home side's 22 where Tynedale looked for an opening and found it on the right with Joe Beaty going over the line. Josh Leslie's conversion drew the scores level.
Otley regained the lead after a line-out on Tynedale's 22 with Eddie Crossland's switch pass enabling Clark Wells to score with seven minutes to go, and Stead getting his second conversion.
Otley came out reinvigorated in the second half but they were made to work hard for their third try. Going back from Tynedale's 22 to the half-way line, Taylor went down the right flank and then came in to score.
Five minutes later they got their bonus point try from a scrum inside their half. Wells took the ball forward before passing to Holmes to grab his second, Stead slotted his fourth conversion. He then increased Otley's lead after 59 minutes with a penalty from just inside the Tynedale half after the visitors failed to release.
Tynedle's powerful scrum saw Otley go down to 14 after four scrums, and then to 13 when a winger was taken out in the act of scoring, which resulted in a penalty try.
From another scrum, on their 10 metre line , Tynedale ran the lines until No 8 Ben Bell crashed over.
Tynedale's final try came with a minute remaining after their initial attack in the corner was halted. The visitors then moved in field, with replacement Ben Haigh going over with another replacement, Jake Rodgers converting.
Tynedale's head coach Ben Woods acknowledged it was a tight game with the Otley back line their undoing. He thought Tynedale should have scored at the end of the first half, and they left themselves with too much to do playing for the two points rather than the win.
