Report taken from "The Rugby Paper":-
Two penalty tries and a red card cost an impressive Fylde side heavily in an entertaining match. Fylde led 12-10 at the break, with tries by Ben Gregory and Adam Lanigan cancelling out an early Tynedale touchdown from Jonny Cousin, and a line-out drive try from Chris Wearmouth, with only Greg Smith's conversion separating the sides.
A scintillating score from Freddie Reader extended the visitors' lead at the start of the second half, before James Telford darted in from a tap penalty for a converted try to bring things level.
Then the wheels came off for Fylde, as Olli Parkinson and Matt Garrod were both shown yellow cards in the space of two minutes by no-nonsense referee Nikki O'Donnell who awarded a penalty try for the second offence to put Tynedale 24-17 ahead.
Seamus Hutton increased the lead after a good handling move with a converted try on the hour, and although the excellent Lanigan grabbed his second try to make it 31-22 from the restart, a break from inside his own half by Jacob Oliver extended Tynedale's lead.
A cynical shoulder barge from a tap penalty earned Garrod a red card and brought Tynedale's second penalty try.
