Report taken from "The Rugby Paper":-
Runaway leaders Leeds Tykes overcame a scare to beat Tynedale and preserve their 100 percent record.
That run was in serious jeopardy after half an hour as they trailed Tynedale 12-0, were being shoved all over the park and had a man in the sin bin.
But the Tykes it back with a burst of five tries, three of which came from Charlie Venables with a brace from Aarin Yorke. Kieran Davies was deadly from the tee, converting all five tries to take the Tykes' winning run to 14 games.
Tynedale started superbly, dominating all phases of the game, taking a deserved fifth minute lead when Ben Bell touched down from a lineout catch-and-drive.
With a Leeds man in the bin, Tynedale rumbled over again from a lineout after 20 minutes, Louis Frankland getting the touchdown.
But on the half hour a lineout drive gave Yorke his first score and an angled run from Venables brought the scores level, Davies' conversion giving the Tykes an interval lead.
Tynedale were seldom out of their own half in the second period as Yorke grabbed his second from a lineout, before Venables got two in two minutes to seal it.
