Match Preview

This Saturday we make our longest journey of the season (259 miles each way) to take on our friends Luctonians whose ground is in the village of Kingsland which is close to the market town of Leominster in North Herefordshire.

Tynedale and Luctonians have played each other 8 times since their first encounter in February 2016 with honours even, each club recording 4 victories. Six of these eight matches have resulted in a winning margin of 7 points or less.

Tynedale’s last visit to Luctonians was on 2nd December 2017 when Tynedale edged it 40-38 in an eleven-try thriller with a last minute try from Nick Cairns being decisive.
