A mixed Touch team from Tynedale, the Tynedale Temptations, took part in the Blackadders 15th Anniversary Charity Tournament at Whitley Bay Rockcliff on Saturday and came away with silverware!!!
In an excellent tournament teams from Stockton Steelers, a Touch of Sunderland, Rock/Alnwick Barbarians, Catterick Touch, Percy Park Ravens, Big Trunks, Tynedale Temptations and Blackadders battled it out for the prizes.

Tynedale played some great touch rugby, several 'new' players quickly picking up the England Touch rules and enjoying some fabulous tactical play.
Against strong opposition the Temptations made it to the plate final where a tough fought game against a huge Big Trunks team went to extra time. The Temptations won in the first two minutes of ‘drop off’, where each team loses one player every minute until there is a score.

Friday night training is continuing (6.15pm start - don’t worry if you need to be a tad late) with cold drinks afterwards
All welcome. We have a few beginners so now is a great time to come along if you have had it in your mind.
More men needed, we nearly wore out the ones we have.
