OBITUARIES
W D Stewart
Bill was Honorary Secretary of Tynedale RFC for ten years, from 2001 to 2011. When he came to the Hexham area Bill worked for NFU Mutual and married the widow, Brenda Cuthbertson. He thus became part of a famed Tynedale rugby family, as Brenda's brother Geoff Fairlamb played in the second row for Tynedale and Northumberland, and then her son Andrew Cuthbertson, the club's current Secretary, was later to play as a three-quarter for Tynedale and the County. After holding official positions, Bill continued to show a keen interest in the club.

Andrew Forster
Andy (Caveman) loved his rugby and was a regular player in what was the first Tynedale Under 20 team, the Hadrian’s, and then went on to play in the well-remembered Grasshoppers era.
After his playing days he was a regular at Tynedale Park and, of course, a regular visitor to our Beer Festival.

John Sproat
A paid-up full member who was a regular attendee at 1stXV home matches.
John lived at Farnley, Corbridge
