It's very strange to have a two-week gap in the Tynedale 1st XV schedule of matches.
Since idleness encourages musings from observers like me, I attach my own thoughts on the current situation which you may find interesting/amusing/boring.

A STATISTICAL STUDY
Do you agree with Mark Twain who said “Figures often beguile me“ or believe the words attributed to Benjamin Disraeli that - “There are three kinds of lies. Lies, damned lies and statistics”.
CURRENT LEAGUE STANDINGS
Sheffield are definitely a safe bet for the top spot but the runners-up position (which now qualifies for a promotion play-off) is still closely contested with Tynedale in the mix.
The top of the current table looks like this:-
Sheffield RUFC now look certain to top the table.
Macclesfield have four more matches, v Sheffield away (28th March), Darlington MP away (11th April), Otley at home (!8th April) and Sheffield Tigers away on the 25th April. Two tough away trips.
Tynedale have three more matches – Scunthorpe at home (11th April) then Billingham (18th April) and Wharfedale (25th April) both away. One home match against a resurgent Scunthorpe side and two challenging away matches.
Hull Ionians also have three more matches – Billingham at home (11th April), Preston Grasshoppers away (18th April) then Fylde at home (25th April). Not out of the picture for that one play-off position with Macclesfield and Tynedale both having difficult fixtures.
IS THIS TYNEDALE 1st XV’s BEST SEASON IN NATIONAL TWO SINCE 2008?
The 1st XV results already look better than most of those of the previous decade, with the best season in that period being the fourth place finish in 2018 with 107 points. (but from only 29 matches). How close can Tyne get to the 2018 season figures this time?
Can Tynedale make the play-offs?
TYNEDALE RFC (LAST 9 SEASONS)
After relegation from National One in 2015 the 1st XV’s results have been:-

WHAT IS THE TEAM’S RECORD LIKE AGAINST TEAMS WE HAVE YET TO PLAY?
94.4%, 70% and 60.9% according to Disraeli’s damned lies shown in the following schedule:-.
TYNEDALE'S RECORD AGAINST OTHER NATIONAL TWO (NORTH )TEAMS SINCE 1987.
