For the past couple of seasons our Director of Rugby, Peter Southern, and his “committee” have selected a 'Clubman of the Week' from nominations received from players and support staff.

This week winner is BEN BELL

This weeks award citation from Peter:-
"After another fantastic weekend of rugby it’s been great getting so many nominations from players nominating fellow players and how highly they regarded lads that they are playing with.

So it’s no surprise that this weeks winner is a current player. This weeks winner regularly gets nominated by his pears.

After over 10 seasons this clubman has not only been an outstanding player and leader but a great role model within the club for younger lads to look up to. Due to his busy work and family commitments he probably doesn’t get to train as much as he would like but that doesn’t deter his appetite for playing.

He packs his bag on a Saturday morning and will play for any team in any position at any location. He’s regularly gets asked to play out of position, outside the from row and quite often gets mom performances in multiple positions. He never questions where’s he’s picked or which team he’s in. A fantastic role model within our club and someone who sets great examples how to conduct yourself around the club.
