Tynedale are delighted to announce that the present senior coaching set up will once again be in place at Tynedale next season.
Director of Rugby Ben Woods and his assistant coaches Tom Wilkinson, Mark Tampin and Ben Mason have all agreed to remain in post for another season at least.
Former England Saxons, Newcastle Falcons and Leicester Tigers flanker Ben Woods said "Tom, Ben, Mark and I are all excited to be coaching at Tynedale for another season.
"This season hasn't been without its challenges on and off the pitch but we have a great group of players who we all enjoy coaching and who work hard each week to improve individually and as a collective.
"In addition the tremendous support we receive from everyone connected with the club outside of the playing group has helped to make the decision an easy one for us all.
"Ben and Mark have both integrated really well having come into the coaching setup a few weeks after the start of the season . It's never easy coming into a new club but even harder when doing so once the season has started. " They've brought a wealth of rugby knowledge and plenty of fresh ideas with them and have contributed a huge amount to the environment so far. I look forward to seeing their impact in the final weeks of this season and also next season after they've had a full pre-season with the playing group.
