HELP US CELEBRATE OUR 150TH SEASON IN THE TYNE VALLEY
Our 150th season is packed with the matchdays and events that make Tynedale Park the best day out in the valley.
Returning after brilliant success are Past Players Day, Farmers Day, the Northumberland Rugby Union Legends Lunch, Women in Sport, the always-popular Speed Shear, and the Cow Pat Challenge, with this year’s proceeds supporting the club’s 150th Tour to Italy in 2027.
We’re also excited to introduce a brand-new event to the calendar with our Sport in Tynedale Lunch, celebrating the clubs, volunteers and people who make our district one of the great sporting communities.
One of the standout occasions of the season comes on Easter Saturday, as we welcome fellow 1876 club Kelso RFC to Tynedale Park. With Kelso flying high in the Scottish Premiership, it’s a fitting way to celebrate two historic clubs and rekindle memories of some great cross-border fixtures of the past.
But first, all roads lead to Saturday 12th September.
The 1st XV kick off their league campaign against Darlington Mowden Park, while the Raiders make history by playing their first-ever RFU league fixture at home to Gateshead.
Add in Family Day, and there’s no better way to begin our 150th season. Bring the family, bring your friends and be part of what promises to be a memorable day.
Matchday Hospitality is now on sale.
Whether you’re entertaining clients, rewarding colleagues or enjoying a day with friends, we’d love to welcome you.
See you on 12th September.
