This Saturday, 20th December, it’s the one everyone’s been waiting for as Tynedale RFC welcome local rivals Darlington Mowden Park for a huge festive derby showdown.

The sides met earlier this season at DMP, where Tynedale edged a thrilling, high-scoring contest 38–48. With the league table now taking shape, the stakes are even higher. Tynedale currently sit 3rd in National 2 North, with DMP just behind in 4th, making this an important fixture for both sides heading into the festive break.

Tynedale come into the game in strong form following a dominant win over Billingham, while DMP will be keen to bounce back after recent December defeats away at Macclesfield and at home to Sheffield.

OFF-PITCH PARTYING
From 12 noon, the clubhouse will be rocking with a huge sell-out festive lunch, before we extend the hospitality out-front with our very own mid-winter Apres Ski-style food & drink area, powered by Go Go Tacos, Jubel, Guinness & Love Beer.

AFTER THE RUGBY
Once the final whistle blows, the entertainment really gets going:

TYNEDALE'S GOT TALENT – expect laughs, surprises and questionable confidence
Then the brilliant CROSBY BROTHERS BAND take over, carrying us deep into the small hours
Food available for purchase all day until 8pm
No entry fee for the evening festivities
