Update: Scotland suffered a heavy 59-7 loss but Gemma came off the bench for the last 10 minutes thus winning her first full Scotland cap.
20 year-old Gemma, who has Scotland Under 20 caps, qualifies for Scotland through her mother, Gaynor, and switched from hooker to flanker after her move to Hartbury University. As well as the University Gemma also currently plays for Gloucester-Hartbury.
Joining Gemma in the Scotland squad will be another ex-Tynedale Panther, Caity Mattinson, who stars at scrum-half, winning her 31st Scottish cap.
The match, which kicks off at 4.45pm, will be broadcast live across BBC Two, iPlayer, BBC Sport website & app.
Good Luck to both Gemma and Caity – ENJOY ladies.
