150 years of rugby in the Tyne Valley

Announcing a Diary of Events to Celebrate 1876-2026 at Tynedale RFC

150 Years Young: How Tynedale RFC Is Celebrating a Landmark Season

In 2026–27, Tynedale RFC celebrates a milestone few clubs anywhere can claim – 150 years of rugby, community and character. Proudly wearing blue and white, we represent Tynedale, but our story stretches far beyond the Tyne Valley. Former players, families and friends are spread across the UK and around the world, bound by shared memories and lifelong connections to the club.

Adding even more significance, this landmark year also marks 50 years since Tynedale made its home in Corbridge, moving from Dene Park in Hexham to what we now proudly call Tynedale Park. A rare convergence of history – and the perfect moment to celebrate everything the club has been, and everything it is becoming.
