Congratulations to Joe Tully who was Tynedale’s Man of the Match on Saturday, kindly sponsored by Greene King Brewery.

A well deserved award for Joe enjoying a day off from his never ending studies, even though at times his kicking display would have looked more at home playing for his favourite Fulham FC than at fullback for Tynedale during their 43-38 victory.

Next Saturday sees the 1stXV and Raiders making the trip to Harrogate while the Centurions entertain Alnwick Lions in the final of the County No2 Cup (2.30pm)
