The Raiders will compete in North East Counties One at Level 7, lining up alongside the first teams of clubs including Medicals, Hartlepool, Ponteland and Darlington.

With the step into a senior RFU competition comes a greater level of matchday organisation. While the old bucket and sponge may still have its place, the support required now goes considerably further.

We are looking for volunteers who can help with tasks including running the line, assisting with pre-match administration and completing the RFU’s online matchcards, which must be submitted each week.

Working alongside team manager Ian Hiles, our volunteers will play an important part in ensuring the Raiders operate within a well-organised and professional environment, allowing the players and coaches to concentrate on the rugby.

Full guidance and support will be provided, and nobody is expected to take on every responsibility or attend every match. The roles can be shared among several people, making this a great opportunity to become more closely involved with senior rugby at Tynedale without committing to every weekend.

Even a small amount of help would make a huge difference to the Raiders and the wider playing group as they embark upon this exciting new chapter.
