Yahya, Alfie, Wils, Tag and Hutch all played big parts in Northumberland's win over Cheshire, with Hutch bagging a try in what was a stellar 80-minute performance at full back from him.

Jason Leonard Mens National Under 20s County Championship

Congratulations to Alfie Scott, Ben Wilson, Will Hutchinson, Yahya Chaudhary and Alfie Taggart who have all been selected for Northumberland U20's opening match against Cheshire this Sunday. Tynedale's Ayhan Yilmaz and Will Laidler have also been named as the two reserves.

Competition was fierce with trials open to almost 70 nominated players, and a very difficult selection being made from an eventual pool of almost 50 players.
