END OF SEASON - GREAT MEMORIES ONWARDS AND UPWARDS
And so that's it, the end of another season, the moving on of senior colts to our senior club and the moving in of our club's U16 group to take up the junior colts role.

Colts Leavers Breakfast with Awards Ceremony then Morpeth 7's.
Our annual fancy dress breakfast once again did not fail to impress. All our available colts and parents met at the club in full Scottish attire (including ginger wigs !) in recognition of our playing brothers over the border.
The morning started with a mega breakfast sandwich, a fantastic job done again by our club chef Mark, his breakfast sandwich made the McDonald's breakfast wrap look anorexic.
Once consumed the end of seasons trophy ceremony took place with some well earned wins, see photos below.
Before the lads departed for Morpeth 7s we took the opportunity to take some final last photos together as the 2025-26 Colts squad.
This is always a very mixed emotion day for myself, on the one hand releasing the older lads to senior rugby knowing I have given them two years of colts memories but on the other hand losing good rugby friends from the squad.
Each one of these lads are very different from each other. Over the two years I have them I learn what makes each of them tick, what motivates them and their dislikes!
In the 5 seasons I have now done this the day does not get any easier. What is nice is meeting them all at the club as they head off to the changing rooms ready for pre-season training.
On behalf of the colts coaches and Tynedale RFC can we wish all the leaving colts all the best for their future in both life and rugby, cherish the memories you have of the two seasons in the mighty blue and white colts, these are times you will talk about for the rest of your lives.
