Report from "The Rugby Paper":-
Rock bottom Blaydon stunned Tynedale with a four-try salvo to record only their second win of the season.
Tynedale made too many mistakes and were lucky to claim two bonus points.
Referee Daniel Woods dished out four yellow cards, three to Tynedale but took no action when a high tackle resulted in Tynedale fly-half Jake Rodgers being carried off in the second half.
Blaydon led after seven minutes when a chip over the top allowed James Cooney to score. Zak Thompson converted and was on hand again when livewire Jon Clarkson intercepted on half-way to scamper in.
Four minutes later another interception got Clarkson his second converted try and it was 21-0 at half time.
Tynedale squandered several chances before getting on the scoresheet in the 57th minutes with a try from Louis Frankland, improved by Cameron Grant.
Blaydon hit back with a Darren Fearn try from a driving maul to clinch the bonus point.
Jon Devereux got Tyneale's second try after 71 minutes but a Thompson penalty kept Blaydon in control. Tynedale salvaged their bonus points with a try by Chris Wearmouth and Devereux's second.
