Report taken from "The Rugby Paper":-
A hat-trick from Will Smith helped Sheffield maintain their 100 percent winning start to the season.
They outgunned Tynedale in all departments, leaving the Northumbrians still seeking their first win after four games.
Tynedale had no answer to the power of the Sheffield pack, particularly in the lineout, and gave away far too many penalties.
Sheffield took the lead after four minutes, when a penalty to touch brought a line-out catch and drive which ended with a score by Rhodri Campbell.
A brilliant run up the left wing brought a spectacular try for Tynedale's Joe Beaty, Cam Grant's conversion nudging them into a 7-5 lead after 14 minutes.
The lead was short lived as Campbell got his second line-out try four minutes later, and on the half-hour, slick handling saw Smith open his account, the powerful centre securing the bonus point with his second just before the break for a 26-7 lead, Callum Posa adding three conversions.
Tynedale held their own for a while, but after 54 minutes a fine run by Smith brought him his hat-trick and with four minutes left good work by the forwards brought a try for Angus Hughes.
