Report taken from "The Rugby Paper":
In-form Tynedale continued their sensational start to the season with their fifth maximum points haul, running in seven tries in a game dominated by the remnants of Storm Amy howling down the length of the pitch.
Tynedale had wind advantage in the first half, and led 24-0 at the break thanks to tries by Charlie Richards, Chris Wearmouth and Owen Chaplin all converted by Cam Grant who also added a penalty.
Questions were being asked as to whether that lead would be sufficient into the wind, but it was Tynedale who extended their advantage with a score from Charlie Turnbull a minute in.
Rossendale finally got off the mark when a chip over the defence was poinced on by Nick Fontain for Dan Holland to convert after 49m minutes but a swift Tynedale counter attack brought a well-taken try for replacement Ethan Hall-Lyon for a 36-7 lead.
Rossendale struck back with a score from Callum Whelan after 55 minutes, but Tynedale strode away with two fine tries from Seamus Hutton to lead 46-14 with 15 minutes leaft.
But the newcomers staged a grandstand finish to salvage a late bonus point, with good pressure bringing two tries for winger Seb Krippner.
