Match Report taken from "The Rugby Paper":-
Tynedale got back to winning ways after dominating Scunthorpe at Haslam Park.
The visitors were emphatic from the start and made their intention felt as early as the sixth minute when co-captain Oscar Caudle charged over for the opening try.
In wet and dirty conditions, Tynedale extended their lead soon after through Joe Hanning before Caudle completed his brace to see his side lead 21-0 at the break.
Cam Grant and Charlie Turnbull crossed for tries in the opening 10 minutes of the second half to give the visitors a 33-0 advantage.
Scunthorpe, however, were eager to get back into the game, and Joey Mowbray got their first, and only, try of the day.
The Scunthorpe score was, however, quickly cancelled out when fly-half Josh Leslie dived over.
Replacement back-row Ben Bell scored the game's final try to seal an emphatic win for Tynedale. Tynedale's Grant was also influential with his boot, just missing one conversion.
