A hat-trick from Guy Pike helped Tynedale to maximum points against a Huddersfield side who will consider themselves unfortunate to leave Corbridge empty-handed.
The visitors dominatd the second half but were unable to capitalise on possession, and it was Pike who had the final say on a memorable day for the wing.
Tynedale turned down an easy penalty after just two minutes to go for touch, and were rewarded when fly-half Jake Rodgers went ovr from the lineout, before converting his own try
Huddersfield came back with a Will Milner penalty on six minutes, before \pike grabbed his first try from a scrum with 13 minutes gone.
Back came Huddersfield with a well worked try for left wing Ross Whitmore, but Tynedale stretched away again when scrum-half Callum Pascoe darted in from another penalty lineout on 23 minutes, Rodgers convrting.
Pike grabbed the bonus point try just before half-time with a break from inside his own half to run free and score. Rodgers conversion made it 26-8 at the interval as the hosts accumulated a comfortable lead.
Huddersfield No 8 Richard Piper crashed over ten minutes into the second half to give the Yorkshire men some hope, but Pascoe and Rodgers combined well on the hour to send in Pike for his hat-trick, with Rodgers converting clinically once more.
A well taken try by right wing Kian Stewart on 73 minutes gave Huddersfield a sniff of a losing bonus point, but they were denied by a solid Tynedale defence.
