Report from 'The Rugby Paper':-
A dominant second half performance by the Tynedale pack saw them sweep the Students aside to register a first maximum-points win in easily their most impressive display of the season.
Tynedale opened their account in the ninth minute when Ross Cooke rounded off a good handling move with a try he converted.
The Students came back strongly when an extravagant dummy took George Hendy over for an unconverted try but a battering run from prop Ben Haigh from a lineout restored Tynedale's advantage.
Tynedale went further ahead when a neat chip sent Cameron Grant in, but with Tynedale lock Chris Wearmouth in the bin, the Students came back again with a converted try from Timothy Hoyt.
The Tynedale forwards took control after the break, with a magnificent 30m drive putting Haigh in again for the bonus-point try.
Another Students rally ended with a try by Nick Jennings, converted by Heard, but the hosts finished strongly.
Another churning drive saw prop Gus White grab Tynedale's fifth try, and, in the dying stages, it was another sumptuous catch and drive that gave Tynedale their sixth try through replacement Ralph Johnston.
