Report taken from "The Rugby Paper":-
Tynedale just shaded the North-East derby to give captain Matty Outson a fitting send off at Tynedale Park after 13 years of playing first team for the club.
The hosts started the game quickly, with Ben Bell scoring unopposed in the corner.
Blaydon's shaky start was then compounded when Cooney and Clarkson were sin-binned with Tynedale taking full advantage for Todhunter to touch down.
And minutes later Rob Parker broke to the 22 fed Will Miller to score to make it 17-0.
Blaydon finally woke up and just as they got back to 15 players, a well controlled catch and drive led to Matty Winter touching down.
The resurgence continued as Ashman crossed and Clarkson converted, before Ashman added a second to bring the scores level at 17-17 at the interval.
It took Tynedale until midway through the second half to regain the lead with a Leslie penalty.
But Blaydon almost immediately hit the front when the referee awarded a penalty try.
But the hosts finished the stronger and, after numerous phases attacking the Blaydon line, they finally broke through with prop Angus White scoring wide out for Leslie to convert and seal the win.
