Tynedale League Records

* Season 2000-2001 - Following the incompleted league program due to the foot & mouth epidemic the RFU calculated final positions on a mathematical/percentage basis.
** Season 2019-2020 suspended due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. To calculate final league placings a mathematical formula was applied taking into account matches outstanding and average league points gained prior to season suspension.

PROMOTION
1999-2000 - Tynedale promoted as champions (with a 100% record.)
2007-2008 - Tynedale promoted as champions.
RELEGATION
2014-2015 - Tynedale relegated.
PLAY-OFFS
2006-2007 - Tynedale lost a promotion play-off to Westcombe Park(Away).

LEAGUE CHANGES FOR 2022-2023

At Level 4 (our level), the League Structure was changed to reduce travelling.

Previously level 4 was made up of two divisions (North and South), each containing sixteen teams. As a consequence several teams from the Midlands area were in Tynedale's league. (National 2 North)

In season 2022-2023 National League Two was split into three divisions (North, East and West Divisions) each containing fourteen teams. The teams from the Midlands area were moved into either National 2 East or National 2 West.
