Our Raiders made a mark in the history of the club on Saturday when they played their first ever match in the RFU League structure.

They opened their campaign in COUNTIES ONE NORTH EAST (LEVEL 7) in impressive style, with a 52-14 victory at Houghton.

Next Saturday the Raiders have what looks like a very tough league fixture when they play Stockton 1stXV at Tynedale Park. (3pm). Stockto opened their league campaign with a 55-14 victory over Bishop Auckland.

NOTES:-

• In 1992 our 2nd XV adopted the name of "Raiders".
• Saturday’s starting backs included 3 nineteen year olds and 2 eighteen year olds.
