The Morpeth pitch was declared unplayable at 9.00am this morning and it was agreed to switch the Tynedale Raiders v Morpeth Reivers match to Corbridge subject to a pitch inspection at 10.30am. Unfortunately that inspection coupled with the lack of sunshine resulted in all parties agreeing to cancel the matches.

While the Raiders travel up to Morpeth to take on the Reivers in a top-of-the-table Candy League 1 match the Colts take on Morpeth Colts in a Border League fixture at Tynedale Park.

So why not make the short journey up the A1 to support our Raiders or alternatively come along to Tynedale Park, where BAR1876 will be open from 1pm, and support our youngsters - the stars of the future.
