For nearly 150 years, Tynedale RFC has been defined by the players who wore the blue and white, taking to the field with pride, determination, and a sense of belonging.
As we approach the start of our 150th anniversary celebrations in June 2026, we’re launching “The Old Tyners,” an initiative dedicated to reconnecting with all former players, from 1st XV stalwarts to those who made their mark in the youth teams or during a single unforgettable season.

This is a call to everyone who lived the highs and lows of Tynedale rugby: the cup runs, the hard-fought victories, the legendary team talks, and the moments when the whole community came together for something special. Your playing memories are the foundation of our club’s legacy, and we want to celebrate them—through stories, photos, and shared experiences.

Whilst a focus is on players and their time on the pitch, we also welcome the families, partners, and supporters who stood side-by-side with those on the field. The laughter, encouragement, and support from the sidelines have always been part of what makes Tynedale unique. If you have memories to share or want to honour a loved one’s playing days, your voice is welcome here as much as those who played.

By joining The Old Tyners, you’ll help us build a living archive of Tynedale’s rugby history, reconnect with old friends, and stay informed about special events and anniversary celebrations.
