TYNEDALE RFC LAUNCHES NEW MEMBERSHIP STRATEGY FOR 2026/27
More value. Greater rewards. A simpler way to stay connected.
As Tynedale RFC enters its historic 150th Season, we're delighted to launch a completely new membership strategy for 2026/27.
The new approach has been designed to make joining the club simpler, recognise the many different ways people contribute to Tynedale and provide more benefits to players, parents and supporters alike, both at the club and with a number of excellent club partners.
Membership income remains vital to the club, that hasn’t changed. It helps maintain our pitches and facilities, supports rugby across every section and allows us to continue investing in Tynedale's future.
But this membership works both ways.
Those who invest in Tynedale RFC should receive meaningful value in return—not just on a Saturday afternoon, but throughout the year.
2026/27 Membership Packages
More Rugby Included
Every membership now includes admission to all home league fixtures for:
• Tynedale 1st XV
• Tynedale Raiders
With the Raiders beginning life in the RFU league structure for the first time, members will enjoy even more competitive league rugby at Tynedale Park throughout the season.
Family Discounts
We recognise that costs can quickly add up when several members of the same family are involved.
For 2026/27 the following family discounts apply:
• Additional Senior Playing or Supporter Membership — £100
• Second and subsequent Minis & Youth Membership — £100
• Additional £80 Memberships — £60
The principle is simple.
The more of your family involved at Tynedale, the more we should recognise that commitment.
Membership That Works Beyond Matchday
Membership is now about much more than access to rugby.
Members receive exclusive offers from an expanding network of local and national partners including:
The Tynedale RFC Community Fund
Nobody should have to step away from rugby because circumstances have changed.
Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous club partner, the Tynedale RFC Community Fund has been established with funding of £6,800 across the next two seasons.
The fund can provide discreet assistance towards:
• Membership fees
• Essential playing kit
• Rugby-related meals
It is available across every section of the club.
When difficult times arise, the routine, friendship and sense of belonging provided by a rugby club can become even more important.
Tynedale should always be somewhere people move towards—not somewhere they are forced to leave.
All enquiries will be treated with complete discretion.
Supporting the Club in Different Ways
Fundraising and volunteering remain central to life at Tynedale RFC.
However, we recognise that people contribute in different ways.
Members can choose to add a £50 Club Support Contribution when joining.
This provides an alternative for those who are unable, or would prefer not, to participate in general club fundraising or whole-club volunteering activities.
It does not replace team-specific responsibilities.
Some people give their time.
Some raise funds.
Others contribute financially.
Every contribution helps move the club forward.
Club Membership & RFU Registration
Club membership and RFU registration remain separate.
Membership is managed through ClubZap, whilst player registration continues through RFU GMS.
Guidance on how to register, or re-register, with the RFU through GMS is available on both the Tynedale RFC website and within ClubZap. We encourage all playing members to complete their RFU registration as early as possible ahead of the new season.
A New System
This is a significant change for Tynedale RFC, and one we're genuinely excited about.
We've spent many months developing a membership that better reflects the modern club, offers greater value and makes it easier than ever to stay connected.
As with any new system, there will inevitably be opportunities to improve.
If you experience any difficulties, have suggestions or simply think something could work better, we'd really like to hear from you.
This isn't a finished product—it's the beginning of a new approach to membership, and your feedback will help shape how it develops over the coming seasons.

Our ambition is simple: to make this a genuine step forward for everyone connected with Tynedale RFC.
