On 15th February, Tynedale RFC Raiders will travel to Jed-Forest RFC to take on Club Atlético Ferrocarril General San Martín. The team, from Argentina will be staying in Edinburgh on their Scottish leg of a European Tour which will see them stay in Dublin, Paris and Barcelona. Why play an Argentinean side at Jed we hear you ask? The tourists were looking for a strong fixture in Edinburgh, but due to a regular league calendar north of the border, clubs 1st XV’s were hesitant to commit their players to the game. With the Raiders schedule thinning out in February, it is a great opportunity to play a one-off test-match against the tourists who are travelling to Europe with Sky High Sports.

The game will kick off at 19:30 at Riverside on Wednesday 15th February. Coach transport will be provided for players and supporters from both Newcastle and Tynedale Park.”
