TYNEDALE V DARLINGTON MOWDEN PARK
Last Saturday Tynedale beat Wharfedale 50-19 at home; Darlington MP won 29-61 away at Scunthorpe, So, well well, the two top teams in the League meet on Friday!

Tyne and Mowden Park last played each other in a pre-season friendly at Tynedale Park on Friday 30th August 2024. Mowden Park won that match 31-5.
From September 2001 until January 2008 the clubs had played each other in North One league matches 14 times; 8 wins to Darlington Mowden Park; 6 wins to Tynedale.

In season 2014/15 we met again. twice, by then in National League One-

Tyne were relegated that season; Darlington Mowden Park finished ninth, and remained in National League One until last season (2024/25).
