Colin McDonald died on Sunday 14th April 2024. at home in St Albans, aged 56 years.

Colin was a past member of Tynedale RFC and he played consistently for the Grasshoppers and the Vets throughout the 1990's and early 2000's before his employment took him away from the local area.

Colin always considered Tynedale as his home club, visiting with his family a few years ago and as recently as this season where his determination, despite rapidly deteriorating health, saw him attend the past players' lunch on 20th January.
