Clubman of the Week - Sunday 12 April 2026
For the past couple of seasons our Director of Rugby, Peter Southern, and his “committee” have selected a 'Clubman of the Week' from nominations received from players and support staff.

"Clubman of the Week:

After another super Saturday at the club with 4 sides playing at home, it’s again been fantastic to receive so many nominations for all those people working in the background to make sure days like yesterday are an overwhelming success.

This week's winner is certainly one who’s been in the background, working away and making the club a better place for us all to be.
This clubman is becoming a very handy and versatile man behind the scenes at the club. Over the course of the season, he has been both the brains and the skill behind the upgrades in the bar, be it with a paint brush, fettling-furniture for the food servery, adding finishing touches to the new patio or sorting the upgraded bin storage - nothing has proved too much or too big a task.
He’s also thrown himself into the new ‘Futures Group’ at the club, exploring ambitious and sustainable additions to the club facilities. All of this has been a huge commitment, doubly so with three young children under 5 - if you want something done, give it to a busy person!
A regular in the Hadrians - or whichever team requires him when injuries allow - and an increasingly influential and highly thought of person throughout the club, he fully deserves every single nomination!
